curious caribou

I have taken up a new curiosity. It all started after combing through some woman’s crafting blog and becoming oddly invested in her life. When I inevitably reached the end of her posts (she blogged from 2012-2017) I found myself grieving some random stranger’s absence. Why was I so attached to this person and her blog?

I don’t actually know the answer to that question, but by starting a blog of my own maybe I can find out, and also find a little bit of closure.

That being said, I intend to blog about my creative endeavors and curiosities. I will do my best to be authentic and not just copy a strangers life and hobbies. If I can look back at this blog in 10 years and conjure up similar feelings of awe and inspiration that I got from ‘some woman’s crafting blog’, I will consider myself successful. I hope I will have gotten to know myself a bit better.
