curious caribou

I am heading to Germany soon and wont be back to blog for a few weeks, so naturally I need to throw together a little post before I leave.

I have been so incredibly uncreative and unmotivated lately. My work life balance has no semblance of balance and skews heavily towards work work work. For someone who is on a lovely spectrum of neurodivergence (me), work is a challenge. It will drain your battery and you will be left with scraps of energy for your free time. It’s truly not enough.

You’re all thinking: enough of the excuses Julie! (Just kidding, nobody is thinking that.) To be honest it does feel like a bunch of excuses but it’s real and it sucks.

So, I have very little to report. I’ve thought about art and video games- truly. They are on my mind. All my hobbies take up significant amounts of my day dreams. I hope I can get back in the groove of things when I return to Canada. Some things i’m hoping to start or finish come May include:

• My cross stitch project
• More pieces for my zine ( I think I will be working on one when I’m in Germany)
• 40k mini assembly
• MAYBE a project for my dad for fathers day
• Finish Mass Effect 2

How I feel when I return will dictate what project I will be eager to start on, so I will keep you all updated.
